Local Lodges
District 837 has four Local Lodges within
it's jurisdiction and is responsible for the negotiations and
contract enforcement for Lodges 837A, 837B, 387, and 738.
These four Locals have members that are employed at The Boeing Corporation
and GKN located
in St. Louis Mo. as well as RTI TRADCO in Washington, Mo. and VSE
Corporation located in Hamil, Il.
District Representatives are elected by the membership at large, while
the Local Lodge Officers must be working in one of the trades
represented by their particular Local. This page is to provide some
basic information for each Local.
Local Lodge 837 A is comprised of Boeing assembly mechanics-all around, bonding
mechanics, crater/packers, garage attendants, heat-treaters,
housekeepers, machine/hand sewers, Maintenance workers, aircraft
production mechanics, electrical and radio mechanics, munitions
mechanics, tube/cable mechanics, chemical processors, hydraulic press
/hammer operators, nameplate processing operators, sign painters, parts
finishers, precision platers, sand blasters, sheet metal & riveters,
sheet metal fabricators, precision sub-assembly, production welders, and
utility workers.
Tom Boelling is the president of Local Lodge A. The Lodge meeting is held
on the 2nd Saturday of each month, unless otherwise noted in the Lodge
minutes, at 10:00 AM. The meeting is held in the Meeting Hall at 212 Utz
Lane, Hazelwood, MO.
Local Lodge 837 B is comprised of Boeing mock-up & tooling builders, precision tool & cutter grinders, heat treaters, aircraft inspectors, assembly inspectors, metrology inspectors, tool & die inspectors, all around machinists, general machinists, all around maintenance mechanics, material handler specialists, automotive mechanics, electrical & electronic mechanics, electro-optical mechanics, flight mechanics, machine repair mechanics, maintenance painters, maintenance pipefitters, production material coordinators, tool & die makers, and tooling welders. Local Lodge 837 B members from VSE Corporation are production control clerks, welders, supply technicians, working team leads, heavy equipment mechanics, and painters.
Bert Atkins is the president of Local Lodge B. The Lodge meeting is held on the 2nd Sunday of each month, unless otherwise noted in the Lodge minutes, at 2:00 PM. The meeting is held in the Meeting Hall at 212 Utz Lane, Hazelwood, Mo.
Local Lodge 387 is comprised of GKN bonding mechanics, machinists, machine repair mechanics, process operators, spray painters, pipe fitters, metal fabricators, shipping and receiving (material handlers) and paris finishers. This Lodge formed in July 2011.
Brian Adams is the president of Local Lodge 387. The Lodge meeting is held at 10am, on the 3rd Saturday of each month, unless otherwise noted in the Lodge minutes. The meeting is held in the Meeting Hall at 212 Utz Lane, Hazelwood, Mo.
Local Lodge 738 is comprised of RTI workers in several classes. The classifications are Janitor, Deburr/Cleanup, Plant Clerical (Fabrication), Tool & Die Clerk, Plant Clerical (Flat Finishing), Brake Press Operator/Helper, Grinder Operator/Helper, Inspector, Penetrant Inspector, Hot Press Operator/Helper, Drill Operator, Pickle Operator/Helper, Saw Operator, Lab Technician, Scribe Operator, Shear Operator/Helper, Stencil Operator/Helper, Receiving Inspector/Helper, Releasing, Truck Driver, Asst. Tool & Die Maker, Mapping Inspector, Shipping Clerk/Shop, Treatment Plant Operator, Maintenance Assistant, Maintenance Mechanic, and Tool & Diemaker.
This Lodge formed in July 2011. The meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month at the Hummingbird Club, 5 Penn St., Washington, Mo. at 4pm unless otherwise noted in the Lodge minutes. Roger Collins is the president of Local Lodge 738.
